Have you been to Chelsea Market in NYC? If you live in NYC and still haven’t been, there’s absolutely no excuse why you haven’t spent a day at Chelsea Market! Get over there! If you’re visiting from out of town, this is a definite must see on your list. Some of the things you can go for are coffee, tea, wine, gluten free crepes at Bar Suzette, vegan fresh made juice at One Lucky Duck, gluten free/vegan sushi at The Green Roll, farm to table food at the Green Table, or gluten free breakfast/lunch at Friedman’s. If you want to do some shopping at one of the random pop up shops, sample sales, grocery store, Moroccan shop, kitchen utensil shop, book store, grass fed and organic meats at Dickson’s Farmstand, fresh fish at The Lobster Place or fresh baked bread at Amy’s Bread – it’s all there! You can spend your day people watching and walking through all the little nooks and cranny’s. You might even catch sight of a Food Network star since their offices are upstairs, along with MLB.com, NY1, YouTube, a few advertising firms and some other businesses as well. What a fantastic mixture of tourists with real NYers all put into one place – it really is genius. There’s always interesting artwork on display and they set up different decorations depending on what holiday is coming up.

Go rub elbows with some of NY’s finest bunch. If you stop to take a picture, make sure to move off to the side so you don’t block the entire passageway. That’s just a friendly reminder to all the tourists to kindly move out of the way so the fast paced NYers can bust through.
