Mexican incense: Copal
The question is this – how can we keep the feel good vibes that we cultivated on vacation throughout our everyday lives? I think it’s important to bring back something that reminds you of your trip – it doesn’t have to be a cheesy souvenir! All over Tulum the scent in the air is that of copal which is tree resin that they’ve made into incense. It’s also sold in solid form that you can burn as well. We bought both varieties and since being home we’ve burned it everyday. It smells delicious and takes me right back to the time of wandering through the warm Tulum streets. All I have to do is close my eyes and I’m transported back – totally dreaming of vacation. Next time you go on vacation find something that you can easily take back home to remind you of your time.
